I have an excessive amount of books to read...

Not really a requirement, but I organized my middle shelf with books that I haven't read yet and want to read.
This doesn't even include my new series books that I shelved with the already read series...
I wish I had more time for my books.

Just thought I would share :)

In My Mailbox (13)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren to show off the books that you have gotten through out the week be they from someone, a swap, you buy them yourself, or the library. This brings books to light that some people may not normally check out.

Whats Cooking Wednesday (4)

Today I'm giving tell you how to make wings in the oven

They are super simple to make and I could seriously eat them every day.

What you will need:
Wings
Seasoning (your prefrence)
Wing Sauce

Directions:
Pre heat the oven to 450 degrees

Place the cut wings in a gallon size bag *I use about 2 lbs of wings each time I cook them, but you can put in more or less and it will not make a difference*

Add desired seasoning just enough to lightly coat the wings *Emeril's original essence is the spice I use*

Place wings on a baking sheet *spray it lightly with pam or you can use parchment paper*

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown *check a wing for done-ness on the inside as well*

Remove from pan and place in a plastic container with a lid and add a hearty amount of wing sauce

Place lid on container and shake to coat wings

Then your ready to eat!

This past week I got a couple things.

For Review:

The awesome Gina Gordon asked me to review her new book that is releasing in April!
I have already read this and she did not dissapoint.  I will be posting the review the week before her release as well as doing a guest post on my other blog.
Temptation in Lingerie by Gina Gordon

From PBS:

Highborn by Yvonne Navarro
The Fallen 2 (Aerie and Reckoning) by Thomas E. Sniegoski

Then I went to the dollar stor this week and got a couple things there:

Thats all for me.  What did you get in your mailbox this week??

Never thought I would be proud of that...

I don't talk about my son much, because this is an open forum, but this just had to be shared.

Last night my son, my roomie, and I went to the circus.  We had a blast.  It was my little mans first circus and he was bouncing and dancing for almost the whole 3 hours.  It was great.

Now on to my reason for the title "Never thought I would be proud of that"

During the show there was a balancing act/ contortionist woman and of course she was wearing the standard skin tight outfit.  During the performance my little 4 year old boy blurts out "look mommy you can see her butt!" I had to point out to him that yes you can see her butt, but you don't shout it out to everyone.

Then later during the intermission there was a massive line for the bathroom and of course he has to go right that moment.   So we walk to the line and hes doing the potty dance holding himself and I know were gonna have an accident if we wait in this line.  I go up to the counter and ask if there is anywhere else we can go to the bathroom even if its just outside.  She points us to behind the bathrooms and my little guy proceeds to drop trou and piss on the back of a port a potty (very successfully I might add.)

Who knew that a mother could be so proud or her son checking out a girls butt and pissing outside.  He is such a little man :)

This past weekend has been very rough.  It had some very good parts and bad parts.
I think I am just way too stressed these days.

Anyway enough of that

Flirt by Laurell K Hamilton (I already read this on kindle I'm just collecting the series)
Kink by Saskia Walker (love her) and Sasha White

Spreading the Word: Poetry and the Survival of Community in America by Ross Talarico (my intro to Lit teachers book)

Bought at a gas station somewhere between my house and my sisters:

I thought it was a fitting coffee cup for me to have :)
